Proverbs 22:6

“Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (NASB1995)

We just learned last evening that our daughter and her family will be moving out of state. As much as a part of me wants to keep them near, I know that the adventure of the move will be good for all involved. Transitioning from melancholy to excitement is a struggle, but not impossible. Having just moved from that area ourselves, we are thankful every day for taking that step. It is amazing to realize that we had encouraged our daughters to see beyond the present and consider what else may be possibilities. All three are taking positive steps to improve their lives. It is a painfully beautiful process.  We are pleased with the strong women they each have become.

Heavenly Father,

Even when we are at our lowest, You are working out all things to the good of those that are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Standing in awe of Your handiwork, praising You is all we can do. Thank You for walking with us through our circumstances so that we grow to be more like You.

In Jesus’ Name we pray,

AMEN
