Genesis 37:18 - 19

"When they [Joseph's brothers] saw him [Joseph] from a distance and before he came close to them, they plotted against him to put him to death. They said to one another, "Here comes this dreamer!" (NASB1995).

Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream. Much like Joseph, when he shared his dream, those who couldn't or just wouldn't understand it plotted against him. Both had dreams that led to transformation of the world as they knew it.

Some dreams are that way. When God inspires the dream within, there is nothing that can stop it. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I have a dream speech still inspires many today. Do you have a God inspired dream? Are you pursuing it? Or, have you listened to the naysayers and abandoned it?

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for dreams. Thank You for the hope that You provide within us. May we seek to inspire others to seek You as we put feet to our faith. May we pursue Your purpose and dreams for us.
