Drop Three

“Commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established.”

(Proverbs 16:3 NASB 1995)

Throughout 2022 there was a deep understanding that a paradigm shift for us was coming. I truly believe it was the Lord prompting me to pursue development of my creative side, which is why you can read this today. Those who are called to write, must write. While many times I have wondered, “Why me?”, I prefer to remember Dr. David Jeremiah asking, “Why not me?” when he was faced with battling cancer. God has a plan and purpose for each of us. I am so thankful to share this journey of discovery with you.

In Drop Two, I shared our plan to move. Since then, contracts for the purchase of our current house and to purchase a new home have been accepted. Yes, we are moving to the place my husband has always wanted to be. To him, all is very surreal. For me, I am just very excited, melancholy, reluctant and motivated all at once. Within the next few weeks, we will be established in our new location.

Knowing change is coming and learning what change is are two very different things. The Lord has transformed my heart in so many ways. So thankful my husband and I are moving forward together, sharing the same dream for our next chapter.

“The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps.” (Proverbs 16:9 NASB 1995).

Please consider reading Proverbs 16 in its entirety.
