Drop Thirty-Two

1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5‬:‭11
”Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.“

I really like this verse in the Bible because it’s just a good reminder that we really need to be encouraging one another. The first step to be able to encourage is to listen. Listen to what is going on with those around us. If we’re not listening, we can’t encourage properly. It is too easy to make assumptions and we know we don’t really want to make any assumptions. We need to share what needs to be shared and encourage what needs to be encouraged. It has been an interesting week. I had an opportunity to be an encourager and I have had opportunities to be encouraged. I just pray that we as a people will be more mindful about listening so that we can properly encourage one another.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the opportunity to be with You today to know that You truly do encourage our hearts. You have a purpose and a plan for us. May we be encouraged to step out in faith and trust Your purpose and plan. May we be aware. Grant us the wisdom we need to move forward in Your purpose that you have for us. Help us to encourage each other to do well and bring honor and glory to You.
In Jesus’ name we pray.
