Drop Thirty-Three

Psalms 40:5

“Many, O Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done, And Your thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with You. If I would declare and speak of them, They would be too numerous to count.” NASB1995

It has now been a year since the major shift from what once was to what now is. Transitioning from working full-time to being home full-time has been a pleasant culture shock. As shared in Psalm 40:5 and in the song “Counting My Blessings” by Seph Schlueter and Matt Maher, my blessings are far too numerous to count, as I am confident is the same for you. Truly enjoying the people in our lives, the weather, and every little thing during this time of reflection and growth are all miraculous blessings from God. Even the hard times prepare us to enjoy life walking with Jesus.

Heavenly Father,

You are worthy of praise regardless of what is happening around us. You have a purpose and plan for us that reveals how glorious and wonderful You are. May we truly praise you through our thoughts, words, and actions. May we recognize You for who You are – our Great and Mighty God, Heavenly Father, Salvation, Author of our very lives. May “everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!” (Psalms 150:6).
