Ecclesiastes 3:1, “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every event under heaven." (NASB 1995)

While there is a time for everything, sometimes it seems to be all at once.

Last week my car just did not seem right while preparing to drive north for vacation.  I checked with my husband, spoke with my daughter (both have experience working on and diagnosing car issues) and scheduled and appoint for the car to be assessed at the first available appointment – 2 days after returning from vacation.  Thankfully, my friend was willing and able to drive instead.

As we gathered everything together and started on our way, it wasn’t long before sneezing began. I have allergies 24/7 365 days per year (except leap year, then it is 366 days per year :D). Spring and fall are equally the worst months, and the weather is changing to fall. Guess what, it wasn’t (isn’t) just allergies. I picked up a virus. I am already feeling better with over-the-counter medicines (Yay me! <3).

We still enjoyed ourselves in spite of the symptoms and the only things we had planned were the location and “whatever we wanted to do, whenever we wanted to do it”.

Today, I took the car in for the appointment today and seven items needed to be repaired. This is actually odd, as I took the car in for every service recommended since the car was purchased. So, now I am on the mend and so is my car. We are still packing, cleaning, giving and selling items as we prepare to move. Thankfully, I am feeling much better today.  I have an interview for a job on Tuesday. Please pray for God’s will regarding the outcome.

I encourage you to read Ecclesiastes Chapter 3. May God bless you always.
