Proverbs 16:9

 “The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps” (NASB1995).

Yesterday marked one year since we purchased our current home. Yesterday I had my first book signing since the release of my updated book at Burlington By the Book, an independent bookstore in Burlington, IA. Thanks to that event, Tuesday, October 1st, an interview has been set up with the King Kong Trail podcast (on Facebook). Last week I had the pleasure of caring for three of our grandchildren and have returned to work this week. Tomorrow is our high school class reunion celebration. So many changes have occurred within the last year. Our plan was just to move here and figure things out day by day. So thankful for the way the Lord is directing our steps.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for guiding our steps. Your purpose for each of us is greater than we often know. Cleanse our hearts and minds of anything unpleasing to You. May we share your love with others as You have commanded.
