1 John 3:23

“This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another just as He commanded us” (NASB1995).

This week has been a very good week. Being available for the grands, keeping up the house and maintaining their schedules to the best of my ability has been an experience. My new question whenever my granddaughter cries is, “are you hurt, or are you scared?” Most often she had been startled and fear gripped her. For scared, we would do a tight hug and then she would move on to the next thing. For pain, we would check for injuries and determine the need for kisses versus bandages. One grand learned how to painlessly remove his very loose tooth. Another learned that six people cannot fit in a vehicle with only five seats, especially with two car seats. We are practicing loving one another.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for children, grandchildren and all the family members that we have. Through relationships with each other we learn just a bit more about You and your creation. Thank you for loving us and choosing us. May we faithfully choose You.

In Jesus’ name we pray,

AMEN
