Colossians 4:2

“Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving” (NASB1995).

My husband and I have a daily mantra: “Sweetie, I love you and am so glad we moved”. Oh, there are times that we miss the people from where we once lived, but the dynamic here is so different and relaxed. We can always go back and visit where we were, although we tend to be hardcore homebodies. There are so many positives related to our new home. One very vital aspect is church. I have attended many churches in my lifetime and still visit some of the ones that were attended routinely. This congregation is very welcoming, and the service order is similar to other churches. Except offerings and prayer. Free will offering truly is a free will offering. And when they pray – miracles happen. My prayer life is vastly improving thanks to the leadership and congregation of this small-town church. Tonight, something that has not happened in a very, very long time is happening. A couple from church has invited us to dinner and we are going.  So thankful for the opportunity to connect as couples.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You. You provide for us even before we are aware of the need. Your mercies are new every morning. Thank You for your patience. Thank You for working in miraculous ways. Thank You for the many answers to prayers, especially over the last week, as well as our lifetimes. May we trust You more each day and let go of burdens stealing today’s strength.

In the name of Jesus we pray,

AMEN
