Hebrews 10:23-25

“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near”(NASB1995).

Tonight is the night! For the first time ever, my husband and I are going to a fundraiser trivia night! Less than two hours from now, we will be joining new friends and competing with others regarding accumulated knowledge of various things. We rarely go out and this promises to be a fun time. We are definitely homebodies, so this will be a night of stretching for us. With so many heavy concerns in our life right now, it will be good to join in the happiness of others and relax.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for opportunities of joy and laughter amid trials and burdens. We are so thankful that life is not mundane; however, sometimes the rollercoaster ride can be a bit overwhelming. Thank You for being with us through it all. May our trust in You strengthen as we enjoy others that You have placed in our lives. May we be a blessing to them as well.

In the name of Jesus we pray,

AMEN
