If I am not sensing the Lord’s presence on my journey,

Perhaps, I am not following His itinerary.

I pray for His presence. I pray for His will.

Yet, once I receive it, I remain still.

The first steps to be taken – I wish they were Thine;

But, the first steps in faith must truly be mine.

When I am seeking Your presence to Your will I must yield

To become a harvester in the plentiful field.
