Drop Seventy-Six

Philippians 2:3-4

“Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others” (NASB1995).

So glad we moved. Truly enjoying being grafted into this rural community. Last evening our public library had an event. We met Candy of “Candy’s Farm House Pantry” and she demonstrated how to make homemade mozzarella cheese. So easy. So GOOD! Now, her cookbook is in my home. So excited to try the recipes and love the helpful tips throughout the book. The connections and friendships that are developing at our local health department and local church are so special. Sharing stories while we exercise together is priceless. The crazy thing is, I could share the same thing about other places we have lived. The difference here is less pressure. Less rat race. More time to invest with others.

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the different stages of life. Each stage is unique and prepares us for what is to come. Thank You for the opportunity to be members of this community. Help us to lift each other up and promote interdependence while we trust Your leading. May we continue to seek opportunities to build relationships and share our faith in the process.

In the name of Jesus we pray,

AMEN
